I have used AVG antivirus for about half a decade, if not more, and I have never, not once had a single problem with it. If you are connected to the Internet, the program will tell you when updates and newer versions are available meaning that you do not really have to do anything at all.

You can also schedule when you want your antivirus software to do a scan on your PC. You can make it every morning, once a week, once a month or whenever you want. If you play around with the settings, you can scan your entire computer including the hidden files and folders and places that you would not ordinarily expect viruses to go meaning the program does a deep scan of your entire computer for maximum protection and assurance that no viruses are infecting your PC.

If you are on a budget or you are simply looking for a free antivirus program to keep your PC safe without having to fork out large amounts of cash, simply search for AVG Antivirus. For the latter part of a decade I have enjoyed its services and not once had a problem and I am active on the Internet each and every day for multiple hours at a time.
