Brock Lesnar to wrestle at WWE WrestleMania 28?
Brock Lesnar gearing up for a WWE return in time for WrestleMania 28?
Brock Lesnar was once known as the “Next Big Thing” in wrestling, and rightfully so. This immensely talented, young physical specimen was a total package in the ring and his ability at the time was truly un-matched. His short lived professional wrestling carer was followed by a year of dominating the UFC as the UFC heavyweight champion, just a few short years after he dominated the WWE as the WWE Champion. Brock Lesnar, at such a young age, is a legend and now, following a shocking retirement from fighting in the UFC, Brock Lesnar could be on the verge of a WWE return in 2012.
One exciting question that could change the face of professional wrestling and the entire WWE Universe in 2012 is: What if Brock Lesnar returned in time for WrestleMania 28?
Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker at WrestleMania 28
One match that truly would shake the foundations of the WWE in 2012 is The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar. The match was rumoured to be taking place at WrestleMania 27 in 2011 after a confrontation between “The Deadman” and “The Next Big Thing” at a fight. However, plans fell through and instead, Lesnar did not show up for the WWE and Undertaker went on to face Triple H. How however, with Undertaker still not having a WrestleMania 28 opponent and with Lesnar retired from fighting and open to a WWE return, could these two ring titans finally collide once again at WrestleMania 28 in 2012? If so, Lesnar would arguably be the greatest challenge yet to Undertaker’s legendary undefeated WrestleMania streak and thus, the biggest threat to “The Phenom’s” WWE legacy and his career.
Brock Lesnar vs. Chris Jericho at WrestleMania 28
One incredibly interesting match for Lesnar to return to would be against Chris Jericho. Both Brock Lesnar and Chris Jericho are famous for their cockiness and their huge egos in the ring. This would be more than an interesting pair considering both are widely skilled athletes and veterans of the ring. It would also make sense considering Jericho recently returned to the WWE on the January 2nd, 2012 edition of Raw and currently does not have an opponent for WrestleMania. It would be quite easy, and not unlike Jericho at all, to grab the microphone and start talking smack in regards to the shocking end of Lesnar’s UFC career, which could in turn set the foundations for an epic WrestleMania 28 match between these two ring icons.
Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H at WrestleMania 28
To say that Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H is a dream match is beyond an understatement. These two ring veterans are two of the biggest superstars in WWE history. Triple H, much like The Undertaker, has become a rarity in the WWE as of late and only seems to return for big feuds and rivalries such as his recent one against Kevin Nash. Given this fact, if Brock Lesnar was to return to the WWE after his shocking retirement from the UFC, this would be a massive feud for both Lesnar and Triple H, which is why it really could happen and culminate in a WrestleMania 28 dream match. Considering Triple H is the heir to WWE, which Lesnar stabbed in the back years ago when he left, it would make sense for Triple H to ‘test’ him so to speak, to see if he can earn a WWE return against “The Game”. This again would be an epic WrestleMania 28 dream match-up between two incredibly talented legends.
Brock Lesnar could change the WWE in 2012, starting at WrestleMania 28
Needless to say, if Brock Lesnar does return to the WWE and compete at WrestleMania 28 in 2012, whoever he faces, it will be an epic match, but why would the WWE waste such a huge return? Brock Lesnar, a huge ring legend, needs a huge opponent to make his return that much more special. The aforementioned would certainly be viable candidates to wrestling the returning Brock Lesnar on the grandest stage of them all. If Brock Lesnar does return to the WWE in 2012, who will he face at WrestleMania 28?

I agree that should Lesnar come back, it would have to be done right and in the right feud. I do not agree with you thinking that Lesnar is a legend. The guy only wrestled in WWE for two years. Guys like Flair, Foley, Hogan, Hart, Michaels and Undertaker are true legends. Lesnar made a big impact and would do the same if he came back, but he needs to do a lot more to prove to me that he is legend worthy. Right now in my book, he is not even Hall of Fame worthy.
