Brock Lesnar is one of the most famous professional athletes walking the earth today. With a career that spans over a decade in the world of the mainstream media, Brock Lesnar really has done it all. Not only is Brock Lesnar a former WWE champion and one of the fastest rising professional wrestlers of all time, but he is also one of the fastest rising mixed martial artists of all time and shortly after starting his career, he joined the UFC and reigned as the UFC world heavyweight champion for an entire year. However, after being afflicted with injuries and one shocking defeat, Brock Lesnar announced his retirement from the UFC and has since been missing in action in the mainstream light.
In regards to WWE rumors however, Brock Lesnar, the man once dubbed as “The Next Big Thing” has been the subject line for over a month. The WWE is currently entering its most exciting annual stage; the “Road To WrestleMania”, and considering that Brock is now a free agent, the WWE Universe and the entire wrestling world is currently awaiting an announcement from Brock Lesnar himself or Vince McMahon in regards to Brock Lesnar making a highly anticipated return.
However, the most likely scenario is that is Lesnar is due to return to the WWE, he will do so secretly and shock the world once more, just as he has been doing for the latter part of ten years. If Brock Lesnar did return to the WWE, as a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble match for example and then he did go on to face an opponent at WrestleMania 28 and stay with the WWE after it, exactly what feuds could be waiting for Lesnar?
The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar faced ten years ago in a hell in a cell match; could they soon face again in 2012?
Brock Lesnar and Goldberg faced in a controversial WrestleMania 20 match; could they face again and redeem their legacies in 2012?
Kane is a monster unleashed in the WWE right now. Could Brock Lesnar rival the "Big Red Machine" in 2012?
The ultimate clash of egos: Chris Jericho and Brock Lesnar could tear up the WWE in 2012
CM Punk is the most dominant WWE superstar in the world today. Calling himself "The Best in the World", could Lesnar have something to say about that in 2012?
Here are some opponents for Brock Lesnar. Such feuds could change the face of the WWE in 2012 and beyond
Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker
The Undertaker is perhaps one of Brock Lesnar’s greatest opponents. Years ago, Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker faced in a bloody and brutal hell in a cell match-up, which Lesnar walked out of the victor. Last year, right before WrestleMania 27, Lesnar and Undertaker had an altercation at a UFC event. This was rumored to be a deal between Vince McMahon and Dana White which would see The Undertaker face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 27, but plans eventually fell through and Undertaker instead faced Triple H in a masterpiece of a match. However, now that Lesnar is a free agent and the WWE have been holding off Undertaker’s WWE return, could it be that the company have been waiting for the Royal Rumble, AKA, the beginning of the Road to WrestleMania, before they begin the feud between this two old rivals?
A feud between Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker in 2012 would not only prove to be a historic match at WrestleMania 28, but it would most certainly prove to be a feud of the ages and quite possibly one of the most epic in the careers of both men involved. As has been stated, Lesnar and Undertaker are not strangers to each other, but both men have a decade of experience under their belts since they last faced. This means that their second match may even surpass the first, and that match was flawless! Needless to say; this would certainly prove to be a feud of the year candidate should it come to pass in 2012 and beyond.
Brock Lesnar vs. Bill Goldberg
Soon after his debut, Brock Lesnar was immediately compared to Bill Goldberg. Both men had a similar build, both men had similar ring gear and both men had similar gimmicks. After Brock enjoyed a quick rise to fame and success just like Goldberg did, the similarities continued to show. A match between Goldberg and Brock Lesnar was almost immediately labeled a dream match. However, such a match finally did come to pass after a short feud between the two. The match, which took place at WrestleMania 20 in 2004, was sadly, a flop. The audience were booing both men and cheering the referee, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, because the audience knew that both Goldberg and Brock Lesnar were leaving the WWE after the match.
There are several reasons why a feud between Goldberg and Lesnar could work in 2012. Firstly, both men have extra years of experience and wisdom, meaning they are more likely to be into the match, which they clearly weren’t before. Secondly, both men are free agents, meaning they could both technically sign on for the match if they wanted to do it. Both Goldberg and Lesnar have talked about redeeming themselves for the WrestleMania flop in the past with Goldberg quite recently stating that he would be open for a WWE return if he could face Lesnar at WrestleMania 28. Considering the history and the need to redeem themselves and let their WWE careers end on a high note, could Goldberg and Lesnar face again in 2012?
Brock Lesnar vs. Kane
Kane is a long-term friend and enemy alike of The Undertaker. Brock Lesnar has a storied history with The Undertaker. Put two and two together and you have a feud. If Brock Lesnar returns to the WWE and targets the legendary “Deadman”, then one man that could prove to be a viable obstacle in his path is none other than Kane. As previously stated, The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar already have a storied history and both men have been vocal about facing each other one more time. However, what if in order to get to “The Phenom”, Lesnar would first have to feud with Kane? This feud would make sense not only for the personal reasons, but also for another reason.
Kane recently returned to the WWE with his mask. Since then, he has been on a war path. He has once again earned his reputation as “The Big Red Machine” and “The Big Red Monster” and he currently has his sights set on John Cena. Cena and Kane will face at the Royal Rumble, but Kane will also be looking to win the Royal Rumble match as he is an entrant. Could Lesnar also be an entrant and if so, could he and Kane have a stand off signaling the beginning of a feud? The similarities between these two behemoths are crazy. Brock Lesnar earned a sinister reputation for destroying the likes of Zach Gowen and Rey Mysterio and a week ago on WWE Raw, Kane destroyed Zack Ryder in a similar fashion by chokeslamming him through the stage.
Brock Lesnar vs. Chris Jericho
Brock Lesnar and Chris Jericho have a number of things in common. Both of them are legitimate athletes and innovators when it comes to their flawless wrestling prowess. Both men have recently made the headlines in regards to their widely publicized and highly anticipated WWE returns and finally, but arguably the most important of all, both of them have giant egos. Both Brock Lesnar and Chris Jericho consider themselves to be the very best at what they do. Should Brock Lesnar return to the WWE and attempt to rise to the top, Chris Jericho could stand in his path.
Brock Lesnar and Chris Jericho were both at the top of their game in the WWE at around the same time. However, Jericho has several years of additional experience in the wrestling ring on his side. Lesnar however has the world experience as a UFC ring veteran. The fact that both men have so much to offer when it comes to their in-ring prowess makes this a flawless pair-up and a dream match that could prove to be one of the very best of all time if it happened in 2012.
Brock Lesnar vs. CM Punk
CM Punk currently calls himself “The Best in the World”. He is the WWE champion and he is arguably the most controversial superstar in the WWE today. Regularly taking to the microphone and voicing his opinions, CM Punk has not exactly been kind to Brock Lesnar. Punk recently stated that while he would welcome Brock back to the WWE family, he said that Brock “may be one of the guys” that may not be able to fit in to the current WWE product. Considering the widely popular world of social networking today, word can travel fast, and the WWE could capitalize on these comments and begin a feud between CM Punk and Brock Lesnar should “The Next Big Thing” make a WWE return.
Nothing bad can be said about CM Punk. He is the leader of the youth movement in the wrestling world today, and that is a place he deserves. He probably is the best in the world. He is flawless on the microphone and flawless in the ring. He and Lesnar are also around the same age and both of them have years of experience and both of them also have huge egos which are both justified considering their flawless talent. If Brock Lesnar returned to the WWE in 2012, a match that the entire world would stand on their feet to watch with shock, awe and excitement is most certainly CM Punk vs. Brock Lesnar.
Who will be standing in Brock Lesnar's path to glory following a WWE return in 2012?
The odds are currently in the favor of the WWE Universe for the return of “The Next Big Thing” Brock Lesnar simply because his UFC career is over. If Brock Lesnar did return to the WWE in 2012, it would most certainly be the biggest return in an age. Brock Lesnar is oblivious to the current world of the WWE, but there are countless potential rivals both old and new that Lesnar could face. When Brock Lesnar does return to the WWE in 2012, exactly who will be waiting for him and more importantly of all, could feuds with the likes of The Undertaker, Kane, Chris Jericho, CM Punk or Bill Goldberg alter and re-shape the foundations of the WWE Universe and the world of professional wrestling in 2012 and beyond?

Brock could face goldberg to get his revange and break streak 175-1.
brock lesnar vs big show in near future
I think Brock Lesnar show enter a feud with Lord Tensai
I would like to see Lesnar versus Sheamus. I think that would be a classic physical confrontation.
CM Punk vs Brock would be great in elevating Punk to a monster level and that it also sees a guy who has come back to WWE simply for the money and material reasons, versus a guy who prides himself on being a pro-wrestler. Add Heyman to the mix and it could be very interesting.
I hate Brock Lesnar and John Laurinitis.Brock Lesnar and foolish John Laurinitis is destroying WWE,especially Monday Night Raw.Its also Vince McMahon's fault,he should made Hitman Brett Hart Monday Night Raw's general manager when Brett Hart returned in 2010.Now if Vince McMahon or WWE COO Triple H failed to stop Brock Lesnar,Brock Lesnar along with John Laurinitis will destroy WWE,especially Monday Night Raw.
