How Scott Hall could return to the WWE in 2012
76Scott Hall during his in-ring TNA return in 2010. Could "The Bad Guy" be on the verge of a 2012 WWE return?
How to look good at 50
Scott Hall: an in-ring WWE return in 2012, appearing on the new WWE Network Legends House in 2012?
What is it about the veterans of the ring that makes us turn our heads and get ‘turned on’ to professional wrestling again? A simple gander over any wrestling website will show any ‘sceptic’ that when the veterans come back, people start watching again. Sure, there are countless fans that adore the modern day generation of wrestling talents such as CM Punk, Daniel Bryan and even John Cena and Randy Orton. That kind of ‘new age hype’ that many fans feel is eerily similar to the ‘old school hype’ that vintage wrestling fans feel when the talents they grew up with return.
Several veteran talents have returned in the last two years, many of which dominated the sport in 2011. Such names that returned for flawless runs include Triple H, Kevin Nash, Sting, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, The Undertaker and more. Even so soon into 2012, veteran talents have already returned. Chris Jericho recently made his WWE return as has Kane wearing his mask. Other veteran names on the verge of a comeback include Bill Goldberg, Batista Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker among, potentially, several others.
One name that arguably shines above any other in wrestling, especially for those viewing this Hub, is Scott Hall. In 2012, Scott Hall may very well be on the verge of a WWE return in some way, shape or form. Exactly how and why could we soon see “The Bad Guy” on WWE television once more?
Scott Hall’s 2011 and 2012 battle with rehab
If you care to browse down to the older sections of this Hub, or if you followed wrestling or YouTube, you will know that 2011 was a bad year for Scott Hall. After an incident at an independent show in which Hall was slurring his words and stumbling around the ring, major controversy and sadness shrouded the wrestling world and the career of Scott Hall. Many people not only thought Hall’s career was over for good, but they also thought that Scott Hall would die. The names that were preparing for his death included the likes of Kevin Nash, Sean “X Pac” Waltman, Eric Bischoff and even Hall’s ex wife Dana and son, Cody.
However, Hall was once again sent to rehab by the WWE and has since vanished from the mainstream media. Updates on Hall’s condition on his official Twitter and Facebook have been few and far between, but when the updates do come in, they have all been positive.
One of these messages however sent the wrestling world into question. The Facebook message read that we may soon see Hall back on WWE television shortly., as the WWE is closely watching his steady progress back to good health. With such an exciting and cryptic message; when exactly will Scott Hall return to the WWE and in what form will he return?
The potential of Scott Hall returning to the WWE ring in 2012
There is potential for Scott Hall to return to the WWE in 2012. Consider the fact that human health is an incredibly fickle thing, and then also look at the fact that Scott Hall has cheated death and made a comeback on countless occasions. The pictures of Scott Hall in this Hub are from his 2010 return to TNA Wrestling. Prior to his shocking TNA return on the January 4th live edition of TNA Impact, Scott Hall was missing in action with his career presumably over. Then, part way through his TNA appearances, he got into the ring. Appearing at a pay per view event wearing his gear, Hall revealed that he was in flawless ring shape and despite being 50, he looked as good as he did in the 1990’s and the 2000’s.
Hall’s return to flawless physical shape in 2010 is proof that is set in the cement of time that he has done it before and he is in the process of doing it again. After rehab, and following the hints from the WWE and via Hall’s official Facebook, “The Bad Guy” can and probably will grace our TV screens once more. But, what is left for Scott Hall in the youth dominated WWE Universe of today?
Quite a lot, actually.
The recent return of Hall’s best friend and tag team partner, Kevin Nash, who is also again in the best shape of his life, opens the door for Hall and Nash to return as a tag-team. The duo are arguably the most controversial tag team of all time, The Outsiders of New World Order fame. When Nash returned in 2011, he engaged in arguably one of the best feuds of his career with Triple H which culminated in a masterpiece match at TLC in December of 2011. Nash has not been seen in WWE since then, but he could be on the verge of a return, especially if Hall is on the verge of a return too.
Considering the lack of great tag teams in WWE today, Hall and Nash would add a much needed veteran touch to the diminishing division. It should also be said that when Hall returned to TNA in 2010, he and Kevin Nash won the TNA tag team titles and did the exact same thing; add a flawless and much needed veteran touch to the tag team division. Their run was incredibly successful and it did a lot for not only the ‘nostalgia effect’ in bringing back old school fans, but also in helping to build up and put over the younger guys on the roster.
There are several wrestlers on the roster that Hall could feud with as a singles wrestler too. The recently returned Chris Jericho has a history with Scott Hall dating back to their WCW days. Similarly, fellow veteran Triple H is a long-term friend of Hall’s; they could capitalize on this by having Hall return to try and avenge Nash’s loss to Triple H at TLC. Perhaps Hall could even wrestle one of the younger guys. CM Punk had some harsh words for both Hall and Nash in late 2011. Hall could easily capitalize on this and feud with CM Punk.
Hall's Outsider partner, Kevin Nash, originally only made a cameo appearence at the WWE royal Rumble 2011 as "Diesel". With Hall getting his problems sorted and getting back into shape and all the rumours surrounding his return, could it be possible that Hall is gearing up for a Royal Rumble 2012 return as Razor Ramon?
There really is a lot of potential for Hall if he did return to the WWE ring in 2012. But, what about an out of the ring role for “The Bad Buy?”
Scott Hall returning to the WWE as a manager or commentator?
Scott Hall is experienced in seemingly all aspects of professional wrestling. He has experience as a commentator and an announcer as made evident by his time behind the microphone in WCW, TNA, WWE and even ECW. Scott Hall is a multi-talented personality, and a genius of the ring. He could use that to his advantage to manage a younger talent to success. One name which comes to mind is Ted DiBiase Jr. Hall has a history with Ted DiBiase Sr, the father of Ted DiBiase and this could easily be bought into storyline following a Hall return to the WWE.
There are countless other young talents that could benefit from Hall’s tutelage. He is a superstar of the past and the present, and he will be a superstar of the future once more. There really is no other way around it. When Hall wants to succeed, Hall is the best in the world. He always has been and he always will be and all of his dearest friends, most loyal fans and even his haters will tell you the exact same thing.
Immortalized proof of this once again is his TNA run in 2010 when he smugly appeared and cut a shoot promo about how he finally managed to fit into his tights. He kept his training and slimming secret and then shocked the world and looked phenomenal in doing so. Only Hall; and this could change the life and career of a young talent in 2012 if Hall takes them under his wing.
Perhaps a more likely scenario for a Scott Hall return however, is the brand new WWE Network exclusive reality television show…
Scott Hall on WWE Legends House 2012
WWE Legends House is a brand new reality television show that will air on the new WWE Network in 2012. Legends House will feature the craziest and most controversial WWE legends in professional wrestling living together and sharing their crazy stories. Names announced so far include The Iron Sheik, Rowdy Roddy Piper and Mean Gene Okerlund.
There are very few wrestlers as controversial as Scott Hall and if you do the math and look at the hints, the signs all seem to point to Scott Hall returning to WWE for Legends House. They say it will feature the craziest and most controversial, Hall’s official Facebook says that WWE is closely monitoring his current rehab progress to success and both parties state we may see Hall back in WWE sooner, rather than later. Could WWE Legends House 2012 be the WWE return for Scott Hall that is being hinted at?
Hall and Nash got the band back together in TNA. Will they do the same in WWE in 2012?
Scott Hall can change professional wrestling forever. He still has it.
A look back at the 2011 Scott Hall incident
NOTE: Showcase this to the masses, get this to Scott Hall himself and hopefully, Hall will realise how important he is to wrestling and how much power he actually has to change the business for better in the modern day. Scott Hall is a living, breathing GENIUS and the sooner he realises that the business belongs to him and that the business needs him, the better. Scott Hall can change pro wrestling, he can make it a business to love because Scott Hall is the mind that wrestling needs to thrive and prosper. There is only one Scott Hall, and the business is crying out for his creativity and his mind.
Scott Hall is one of the most infamous names in professional wrestling and he very rarely fails to make the news when his much publicised personal problems are made available to the Internet world or other media sources. However, it is this bad press that Hall receives that is ruining the legacy of one of the greatest performers of all time. Hall has problems, just like everyone else has problems, yet Hall’s love for the professional wrestling business, along with his contributions, should not be forgotten or overlooked due to his personal life that should not remain private anyway.
It is incredibly saddening to head to the Internet and look on wrestling news and rumour sites or recently, even TMZ, and read a horrible news story based on Scott Hall’s current physical and mental state. Hall’s so called “demons” have been the subject of his mainstream media appearances for the latter part of a decade, and for all of the wrong reasons. It is clear that Scott Hall needs help, and with friends and support, he will get the help he needs. However, what he doesn’t need is constant negative press from the mainstream media. Have some respect for one of wrestling’s greatest.
Hall has a professional wrestling career that has spanned for three decades and based on his recent run in TNA Wrestling in 2011, he had proved to the world that he still had it. He had gotten himself into shape, he had apparently beaten his demons and he was well on his way to toppling the wrestling world once again. However, following his TNA release, it was announced yet again through bad press that Hall’s demons were far from being defeated. Hall however, despite bad press, made all of his bookings in 2011 until bad press once again struck him a cheap shot from behind in April of 2011.
Hall appeared at an event and was clearly in no shape to perform. He was slurring his speech, he had to be helped to and from the ring and he could barely even walk or stand up. Once again, bad press took Scott Hall’s career for a ride despite his management stating that Hall was currently reeling after a bout with pneumonia, as well as battling heart problems. Since the event, Hall’s best friend, Kevin Nash, announced that he was going to pick him up from the airport and they were going to battle Hall’s problems together, and win.
Any true fan of professional wrestling needs to give Hall credit. Every time he has hit rock bottom, he has fought and got back to the top of his game. His recent bout of problems will hopefully be no exception. It is clear that he is a strong person, yet he often lacks the motivation he needs to overcome his problems by himself. Perhaps this recent occurrence of problems will be an eye opener to Scott, an eye opener that can finally help him see that he needs to change his ways, not just for himself, but for his friends that love him and his fans that adore him. If that isn’t motivation enough, then Hall needs to realize exactly how much he has to offer to the wrestling world, because he truly has the power to change it for the better.
Hall is one of the very few active ring veterans of professional wrestling that has so many years of experience under his belt. He contributed to several changes in the world of professional wrestling and he helped, worked with and inspired some of the greatest of all time. It is no secret that Hall with his endless amounts of potential is simply put, one of the greatest wrestling minds that ever lived, and there is no doubt that all of his real-life friends and co-workers would agree.
In recent years, Scott Hall’s genius mind has been showcased to his fans also via his web-show that he regularly hosts on YouTube entitled “The Last Call with Scott Hall” which regularly features such guests as “The Living Legend” Larry Zbyszko and X-Pac. Hall and his guests regularly watch wrestling matches from veterans and new talents alike and Hall regularly gives flawless pointers about ring psychology and in-ring performances, all of which are justified and flawless pieces of information that everyone can benefit from. It just goes to show and even prove that Hall’s mind is one of the finest in wrestling and given the fact that the mainstream wrestling world such as WWE, TNA and ROH are currently dominated by young talent and the on-going youth movement, Hall could have a lot to offer when it comes to teaching these young talents the ways of the world of wrestling.
Scott Hall needs to learn exactly how important he is to the world of professional wrestling. In fact, there are very few as important as Scott Hall and this is not just based on the fact that he has competed and helped to shape the spo4rt in the past, but it is also due to the fact that he still has so much potential and so much to offer. His 2010 stint proved that in the right mindset, he can still dominate the wrestling world. Even if he didn’t want to wrestle full-time, it is backstage and in the creative world where his true modern day potential could flourish whether as a trainer, as a writer or just a guy that pitches and gives his two cents, simply because, as previously stated, there are very few minds that compare to Hall’s ring prowess or genius.
The Internet is full of people that bad mouth Scott Hall due to the fact that the mainstream media constantly publicises his personal problems and his private life. However, these people have no right to judge the life of a man that they do not know, that they have never even met. Scott Hall is not an enemy, Scott Hall is not, as his name would contradict, “The Bad Guy”, he is actually one of the life-lines in professional wrestling and without him, the sport would not be what it is today, nor will it be the same without him if he fails to overcome his latest bout of personal problems.
Stop bad-mouthing Scott Hall, stop judging that which you have no right to judge. Scott Hall is a human being and so much more. To many, he is a brother and to the fans, he is an icon of the ring. Scott Hall needs support right now rather than criticism and the sooner he gets it, the sooner he can be in the state of mind when he realises his significance and utter importance in wrestling.
Scott Hall is a lifeline in professional wrestling, he is one of the men that is synonymous with the modern day sport. He is the epitome of handsome, charismatic and talented all in one; the total package that all wrestlers should aspire to be if they want to make it to the main event and the world championship picture. Above all else, Scott Hall is a man that has endless amounts to offer to professional wrestling in the modern day world whether as an in-ring performer or more importantly, as a creative mind. Scott Hall is a genius and the sooner he realises how much he still has to offer to wrestling and the sooner he realises how much power he actually has to change the sport for the better in 2011 and beyond, the sooner the professional wrestling world can hear the famous “Hey Yo” line as the true hero and the true people’s icon of wrestling walks that aisle once again.
There is only one Scott Hall, and the people demand him back because without him, wrestling isn’t wrestling. Let’s get Hall back on his feet and let’s get Hall in the ring and behind the scenes because he can change the sport forever for the better.
Scott Hall looking good in 2011

Scot cannot come back as a "wrestler" he has a heart condition, & could die in the ring, he can take a few bumps, and act as a Manager, and shake things up, so that would be a start
Danke.
Scott Hall is a Pro Wrestling LEGEND. There is always space for Legends in the business.
Amazing legend that will be remembered by all old school fans
For the love of god please no. Scott Hall has been battling some VERY SERIOUS health issues that will never go away. Returning to any form of wrestling or physical contact would be DETRIMENTAL or even worse to his health.
WWE please do not even think of resigning the man it would be HUGE MISTAKE at this stage, and in the future as well. We need younger talent right now not a washed wannabe who wants one last grasp at the brass ring. If it might even cost or risk the rest of Scot's life is it really worth it?
Hall of fame in the future that is about it but nothing physical, and I think I speak for all when I beg you NO NO NO to resigning at him at all.
Thank you
hall and nahsh waltman wow
Hall & Nash had the TNA belts for a month maybe in 2010. Hardly long enough to impact a tag division as this article states. Also, Hall looked ok cosmetically during that 2010 run but was terrible in the ring & had to have help to execute his finisher. I like Hall & wish him the best but with his health issues & personal demons like his 4-10-12 arrest a WWE return is not gonna happen.
hall is the best i glad some day nearly i will see them
SCOTT HALL MY FOOT.
Scott can do commentary, but thats it, he is in bad health, didn't you fools watch the espn piece on him?

I am sorry but I beg to differ here. I understand that Scott Hall is a huge name in wrestling industry. He had an amazing career, made a name for himself. But, he hardly possess any capability of changing the face of wrestling now. He was never a big name as such The Undertaker or HBK.
I respect him but I think it's high time that he should retire.
