Following the truly shocking and sudden retirement of Brock Lesnar from the UFC, the WWE Universe and indeed, the entire world of professional wrestling is highly anticipating the return of the man who as once known as “The Next Big Thing”. Lesnar and Vince McMahon have both been quiet in regards to Lesnar’s potential WWE return but countless people feel that the move is simply inevitable. Witht hat being said, exactly when could Brock Lesnar return to the WWE in 2012?

WWE Royal Rumble 2012

Arguably a brilliant place for Lesnar to return would be at the Royal Rumble. Such a return has endless potential for countless reasons. Firstly, if he returned as an entrant, he could be announced last minute which would send the wrestling world crazy. Of course, another option is, what if Lesnar actually won the Royal Rumble? This means he would go on to face the WWE champion for the title at WrestleMania 28, thus potentially putting Lesnar right back on top of the WWE so soon after his shocking return. Needless to say; the 2012 Royal Rumble would be a phenomenal way for Brock Lesnar to return to the WWE.

What if the WWE kept Brock Lesnar’s return completely silent and didn’t announce him at all and then, out of the blue, out comes “The Next Big Thing” to make a huge impact at WrestleMania 28. Lesnar could interfere in The Rock vs. John Cena match and cost either man the win. Lesnar debuted at around the same time as Cena, and he also has a storied history with The Rock which culminated in an epic “Rock vs. Brock” match at Summerslam a decade ago.

Another scenario is, the WWE could keep Undertaker’s WrestleMania 28 opponent silent until “The Deadman” enters the ring. Then, Lesnar’s music hits, and out he comes. This would be a huge threat to Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak, and it would also be a flawless way for both The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar to return to the WWE and rekindle their epic rivalry that was last hinted at just prior to WrestleMania 27 in 2011.

A shocking return on Monday Night Raw

Many huge superstars make their returns on television. Two recent examples include Masked Kane and Chris Jericho. Last year, both Triple H and The Undertaker returned on Raw. Considering the WWE is no stranger to shocking televised returns, Brock Lesnar could potentially return to the WWE on a weekly Raw broadcast. It would make sense for this to happen before WrestleMania so that Brock could compete at “The Grand Daddy Of Them All” but of course, everything at this point is nothing more than speculation.

- A feud with Chris Jericho. - An ultimate clash of ego between these two ring legend.

- A feud with The Big Show. - Remember when they destroyed the ring?
