How to learn guitar quickly and easily
It is perfectly possible to learn one of the most difficult yet widely sought after talents in the world quickly and easily. The first tip that can be offered is to treat your learning as a crash course. Crash courses for car and motorcycle driving tests take a single day and if you stay in that mindset, you too can become a guitar player in a day and make your band and artist dreams come to life.
Firstly, you need a guitar. Pick an acoustic to begin with as these are the easiest for beginner players. From there, invest in basic ingredients for success. A small paperback guide with cords. Positions, etc is a necessity. These are cheap and can be picked up online or from any guitar store. Ask in store for recommended editions. You will also need a guitar pick and access to the Internet for video guides on Youtube.
When you have everything you need, get some food and drink together and lock yourself away in a room somewhere and pick up your guitar for the first time. If you are worried about tuning, invest in a tuner or ask someone to do it for you.
Pick the guitar a few times and get used to the sounds. Make up names for the sounds in your head for easier reference. Think back to that episode of Friends where Phoebe, a master guitar player, well, sort of, never learned the real names of chords and instead made her own names for them.
If you want to learn guitar in a day, do the same. Name all of the chords yourself and then match them up in your manual guide that you purchased. They will often come accompanied with pictures so don't worry about forgetting. Remembering the name of the chords from there is simple. For example, if you named a "B" chord an "apple", simply add the letter of the chord to that word so for a B chord, apple would become bapple. Stupid, but it works. Continue this trend for each of the chords and you will master them in a matter of hours.
When you have learned the chords, head to YouTube and study some guitar playing guides. With the right videos, most of them with plenty of views in fact, you will learn all chords, positions to hold the guitar in, how to pick it, etc. When you are ready, move on to some more silent study with what you have learned.
Find a song that is heavy in simple guitar solos such as the introduction to "No Matter What" by Metallica or "Hurt" by Johnny Cash and actually listen to the chords rather than the song. Keep stopping and restarting listening to a bit at a time and when you are ready, search for the chords on your own guitar. Piece them together and play the first ten seconds or so of that song but instead of singing, say the names of the chords out loud so that you can remember them based on tone of voice in memory as well as the sound. This will make for a good reference point now and in the future.
If you use the aforementioned techniques and stay at it, properly dedicate uninterrupted time to it, you will be able to learn guitar quick and easy, master chords skillfully so that you can remember them and in a single day, you could be well on your way to mastering the guitar and becoming the next music superstar or sensation. Why not put your skills to the test and make a video of you playing and putting it on YouTube for the world to see? That's how Justin Bieber and Rebecca Black got noticed after all, you never know!

I think with perseverance and a lot of interest, one would learn how to play the guitar eventually. I regret I never had the the patience to do that. So now am stuck playing some basic major and minor chords only. With my genre of music at present, I could use some accompaniment for my singing... Anyway, it's never too late. :D
Thank you for sharing those tips. Voted up for this one. :D
